Eric Warda
Class of 2017
"I graduated in the summer of 2017 from Cerro Coso Tehachapi with over 60 transferable
credits and a great foundation of what I wanted to do with my life. I was able to
earn 4 degrees (AA in Liberal Arts/AA Social Behavioral Sciences/AA Math and Science/AS
Computer Information Systems). Afterward, I went to nursing school, got my RN license
and started working as a hospital staff nurse in Acute Care during the COVID-19 pandemic.
"Cerro Coso made a huge difference in my academic planning and goals. The classes
offered online and at the Tehachapi campus shortened my college time and saved a significant
amount in tuition fees when compared to other places. It is a fantastic resource for the community and I would certainly recommend it for
anyone thinking about going to college.
"The educational staff is passionate about learning, helpful, and open to new ideas and suggestions. Hopefully, future high school students as well as others who have graduated and have career aspirations are inspired to start early and take advantage of community college classes. Having a junior college close by is a tremendous benefit for the public!”
