Most features are now available on the desktop platform and the app. If you do not see a feature available, it will likely be coming soon.
While logged into your Navigate Student, click on My Profile to edit; this is located on the bottom left.

It takes 24 hours after submitting your Cerro Coso application for Navigate to detect that your account exists. If you are receiving the error message: Missing_User_403: Sorry, your credentials worked but we can't find your account in Navigate. Please contact your school administrator. Please wait 24 hours and try to log back in to Navigate. If you are still experiencing issues after 24 hours, please email us at navigate@cerrocoso.edu and we can assist you.
If you are trying to register for courses and cannot wait 24 hours, you can register through InsideCC following these steps.

Navigate for Faculty
Navigate is a user-friendly program that allows CC faculty to follow along on each student's journey.

What Can Faculty do in Navigate?
- Submit Early Alerts, submit feedback on Grade Reports, and check on students' academic progress all in one place.
- Review the outcome of early alert referrals and student communication.
- Review student information for those registered in their course.
- Message via email and text students.
- Create and manage student cohorts (watch list).

Other features of Navigate include:

EARLY ALERTS
Alerts that are for students who are identified at-risk in a course for academic, financial, behavioral, or other reasons. These alerts are sent to assigned counselors.
(Please do not use Navigate to report to the Report Behavior of Concern (BIT). This is to report a Student of Concern.)

PROGRESS/GRADE REPORTS
During the semester, you may receive an email from the Counseling Department about grade reports for students in your class. These may be required for sports, financial aid, or for purposes of registration. You can use the link in the email to fill out an electronic grade report or you can log in to Navigate to complete these.

Navigate for Staff
Navigate enhances staff's ability to communicate, collaborate and work with students more quickly and efficiently than ever. The user-friendly program allows Cerro Coso staff to follow along on each student's journey and communicate via text and email to help students move forward every step of the way. Access to Navigate features and student information is determined by your department supervisor and in accordance with existing policies and procedures.
