Gail Marie Petty Memorial Scholarship

This scholarship is open to

  • Full-time students (12 units or more)
  • Students attending the Cerro Coso Community College Ridgecrest campus
  • Students having a cumulative GPA of 2.5 or higher
  • Those majoring in Business with an emphasis in Finance.

Scholarship award amount is based on accrued value in the account. Amount subject to change based on accrued value.

Gail Marie Petty

This scholarship was established in memory of Gail Marie Petty. A very caring and compassionate woman, Gail worked as a real estate property manager where she helped people and families find their perfect home in which to build memories; and spent time helping people find jobs through a temp agency. As a successful stock broker/financial advisor for Edward Jones she assisted people in developing and managing their financial affairs. She was committed to her community and passionate about helping others. Over the years Gail, served on the board of directors on several agencies in Ridgecrest, including the Boys and Girls Club and the Salvation Army. Every year she hosted a big BBQ in support of veterans and the community.

The CCCC Foundation is committed to helping students succeed in college through its scholarship program.
