This scholarship is open to
- Graduating students attending any Cerro Coso campus
- Have a cumulative transferrable GPA of 3.0 or higher
- Must be enrolled full-time at a 4-year institution
- Must be majoring in the Biological or Environmental Sciences
Application Requirements
- Completed Cerro Coso Community College Scholarship Application
- Current college transcripts
- Two letters of recommendation: one from an instructor, one from counselor, employer or other
- A brief essay on college and career goals, academic accomplishments and awards, participation in school or community activities
Financial need will not be a consideration in the awarding of this scholarship. Scholarship award amount will be one $500 scholarship per year or as many as the change in value will allow.
