Kern River Valley / Lake Isabella VALLEY
The Kern River Valley campus provides students the opportunity to take courses online from a distance. Through the Internet and Canvas, students can interact with faculty in a virtual classroom setting, allowing for flexibility and convenience in the student's schedule.
Students can access 19 accredited online associate degrees, 18 online certificates, and more than 160 courses per year. The college encourages prospective students to take the Online Readiness Assessment in the Is Online Learning Really for You? section to help determine whether an online course would fit their lifestyle and needs.
GED Preparation Course (online) at KRV!
Prep for the GED Exam is an open-enrollment course, meaning it can be added any time in the semester, as late as week 10. The course is facilitated through online learning software called PLATO and is accessible entirely online. The course is a go-at-your-own pace course. Study more, learn more, and pass the GED Exam. EDUC C005 - Preparation for the GED Exam is offered every Fall and Spring semester for FREE.
