Now Accepting Nursing Applications
The application process for the Licensed Vocational Nursing program is now open for Cerro Coso Community College at the Ridgecrest campus. Please read the entire packet and follow the instructions to ensure a completed packet is submitted.
Applicants MUST schedule an appointment with the counseling department at the appropriate campus prior to the closing of this application. The counselor will be evaluating and confirming the applicant meets minimum requirements for entry into the VN program. Once confirmed, the applicant needs to schedule a time to take the Pre-Admission test (NLN NEX) that is REQUIRED for your application to be accepted. Testing can be done at the Ridgecrest campus. More instructions on how to schedule your NLN NEX can be found on page 8 and 9.
The application process will close on May 12, 2025. Only those completed applications meeting minimum requirements will be accepted for the 2025/2026 cohort.
All applications must be submitted to the counseling department by May 12, 2025, to be eligible. Incomplete applications are not accepted. For online applications, you may submit them to Katelynn Clay at Katelynn.clay@cerrocoso.edu or drop them off in person. The Allied Health Department office is located in East Wing room 210. Office hours are Monday–Thursday 7:00 AM – 4:30 PM, Friday 8 AM – 12 PM.
