Cerro Coso Athletic Director John McHenry Named 2024-25 CCCADA Athletic Director of the Year

Cerro Coso Community College proudly announces that John McHenry, Athletic Director, has been selected as the 2024-25 California Community College Athletic Directors Association (CCCADA) Athletic Director of the Year. This prestigious recognition honors McHenry’s dedication to student-athletes, leadership in collegiate athletics, and commitment to advancing the work of the CCCADA.
McHenry will be formally recognized on Thursday, March 27, 2025, during the 3C2A Honoring Our Own Luncheon, where he will receive the award in acknowledgment of his exceptional service, innovative leadership, and unwavering commitment to the success of Cerro Coso’s athletic programs and student-athletes.
Under McHenry’s leadership, Cerro Coso’s athletic department has seen remarkable growth and success, fostering an environment that prioritizes academic excellence, athletic achievement, and personal development. His work has been instrumental in enhancing athletic programs, advocating for student-athletes, and contributing to the broader mission of community college athletics in California.
