Local Favorites, Men of Worth, Return to Cerro Coso Community College
Men of Worth, featuring Donnie MacDonald and James Keigher, will once again be entertaining the Indian Wells Valley audience. With the sponsorship of the Cerro Coso Foundation, this beloved musical act promises an evening of lively banter, traditional Celtic melodies, and expert musicality on Thursday, November 21, 2024, at 7:00 p.m. at Cerro Coso Community College.
Reflecting on their roots and songs from generations past and present, Scotsman Donnie MacDonald and Irishman Jimmy Keigher combine humor and music for an unforgettable evening of music and laughs leaving the audience cheering for more.
On stage, they perform using several different instruments including the accordion, bodhrans, guitar, banjo and octave mandolin while singing and harmonizing in both English and Gaelic. Their vocals are rich with harmony and strong in unison.
With a musical partnership spanning since 1986, Donnie and James have garnered international acclaim from fans across America, Canada, Scotland, and Ireland. As longtime performers at Cerro Coso, their fan base in the Indian Wells Valley community is extensive. CDs will be available for purchase during intermission and after the concert.
