Cerro Coso Community College is hosting an Employer Meet and Greet on Wednesday, April 3, 2019 from 4 to 7 p.m. in the lobby of the Learning Resource Center.
The event is an opportunity for students and employers to interact for recruitment purposes. Employers in the valley that have a need for Information Technology, Cyber Security, Business, Office Technology, and Web Professional employees will share job and career information focused on Cerro Coso students.
The Computer Technology Exploration Club (CTEC), a student club, is sponsoring the event.
Last year a number of students were hired on the sport while others were scheduled for interviews. Intended for student job seekers interested in what types of employment opportunities are available in the future, or those graduating and looking for employment, this is a great affair to attend.
CTEC is also hosting an exclusive resume and interview preparation session for students on Saturday, March 30 from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. in the LRC Room 722 to assist students with quality resumes and interview skills.
The Employer Meet and Greet is being held from 4-7 p.m. to allow both day and evening students to attend. Light refreshments will be served compliments of Bellevue University.
Students are encouraged to take this opportunity to personally connect with local recruiters and company representatives.
The community is invited to find out more about the programs and offerings the college provides locally during the event. Faculty and counselors will be on hand to answer questions. Parking will not be enforced during the event.
