Join the Cerro Coso Community College Band for the best of movie music concert with featured selections from Mamma Mia, The Incredibles, West Side Story, music of Mancini, Spider Man, Pirates of the Caribbean, Jurassic Park, and more on Thursday, November 29th, at 7 p.m. in the Parker Performing Arts Center at Burroughs High School.
Directed by Debra Veit, the college band endeavors to be an all-inclusive experience for its membership drawn from college and high school students, and members of the community. Veit strives to meet a high standard of quality for the ensembles combined with a laid back entertaining atmosphere.
The holiday season can be stressful, and the Cerro Coso Band Concert is a great way to relax and enjoy some of the most distinctive and memorable moments in recent cinematic history featuring familiar movie themes in a variety of musical styles.
All are welcome to enjoy the hard work and dedication of the Cerro Coso Band at their fall concert. Admission is FREE and open to the public. Donations will be accepted to help cover the costs of music and instrument maintenance.
