A welcomed addition to the Outreach and Student Equity Departments at Cerro Coso, Kari Benson, the new DA II, enjoys working with such a close-knit group. Driven by her passion to see students follow their dreams, Benson enjoys working in an educational setting.
She previously worked with over 3,000 employees at Valencia College in Orlando, Florida. Born and raised in Ridgecrest, Benson spent a year in Argentina exploring the gorgeous landscape and culture before settling into Florida.
She holds an Associate's Degree from Valencia College, and is currently studying for an AS-T Degree in Business Administration.
