Adjunct Faculty

Advertisements for our adjunct positions are listed at Careers at Kern Community College District. Once you complete the application process, your application will remain in the pool for 2 years. You will only be contacted for an interview if you are being considered for an assignment. If you would like to be considered after the two year period, you must re-apply.

Qualifications

Applicants must clearly meet minimum qualifications, or qualify for equivalency consideration. To be considered on the basis of equivalency, all transcripts and a detailed work history must be provided. In most positions, a Master's Degree, the equivalent, or an appropriate community college credential is required.

Report Your Workplace Injury Immediately

  • If the injury is an emergency, call 911 and report the injury to your supervisor.
  • If the injury is not life threatening or serious in nature, please report the injury to your supervisor and contact Human Resources for further instructions.

Additional workers' compensation paperwork may follow after submitting the report of injury. It is important to check your email regularly to retreive, complete and return these forms timely.
