Visual and Performing Arts: Bugging Out

"Bugging Out" is an online exhibition of artwork in which Cerro Coso students have created utilitarian (and often creepy) artwork that weds the physiology of bugs and the emission of light. Utilizing a wide variety of stylistic approaches, fabrication techniques, and finishing treatments, the resulting sculptures are often charming, quirky, expressive, and impressive.

The "Bugging Out" art was created in Sculpture I at the IWV campus. Sculpture I (Art C151) is a basic level course which allows students the opportunity to employ materials such as wood, clay, plaster, and metal in order to produce fine art objects. This course promises something for everyone, so, register today!
